I’ve been meaning to cover Hoya for a while, but I also wanted to get through some more requests (and sadly no one ever requested him. lol). It’s to the point where I have a whole folder full of pictures of Hoya on my desktop, and it keeps getting bigger. So without further ado, let’s scrutinize his face!
Nobody wants to hear it, but Hoya looks very different these days from his pre-debut photos and this pre-debut audition. He has clearly had a nose job and his eyes widened in some way, likely with double eyelid surgery. Even without seeing him pre-debut, it’s easy to spot the rhinoplasty because his nose just seems “off” and the slightest bit too small for his face. For someone with such a masculine jawline and chin, perhaps a little sloping nose wasn’t such a good idea.
